What the course covers

The Academy runs as a sequence rather than a library of articles: each module assumes the one before it. It begins with the bodies and what each one governs, then the signs as modes of expression, then the houses as areas of life, then aspects as the relationships between planets, then essential dignity as a way of weighing how well-placed a planet actually is. Only after that does it move to synthesis — reading a whole chart as one statement instead of a list of placements — and then to the timing techniques and relationship work that professional practice depends on.

How it teaches

Every lesson works through real charts. Abstract descriptions of what Mars in Scorpio means are easy to write and almost useless to learn from; seeing the same placement operate differently in four real charts is what builds judgement. Each module ends in an assessment, and practice drills let you rehearse a single technique until it is automatic. Blind celebrity charts let you read first and check afterwards, which is the only honest way to find out whether you can actually do it.

Why it is built into the software

The most common reason someone abandons astrology software is not that the software is wrong — it is that they can read the screen but not the chart. A correctly calculated wheel is useless to someone who cannot yet say what it means. Teaching the skill and providing the tool are the same problem, so the Academy sits inside the same workspace where you cast charts, and every lesson can open the chart it is discussing.

The certificate

There is a final exam and a certificate of completion for students who want a credential to show clients. The certificate reflects completion of the course and its assessments; it is not a licence, and astrology has no universal licensing body.
