Astrology Community

Chart reading is a skill you cannot really check on your own, which is what this is for. Share a chart directly into a thread rather than screenshotting it, and get read by people who will disagree with you usefully.

Post a chart, get a second read

Charts are shared as charts, not images, so anyone replying can open the actual placements and check them. Most of the value is in the disagreements: the fastest way to discover you have been over-reading a placement is to watch three experienced readers interpret it differently.

Topic spaces

Discussion is split by area — natal, synastry, horary, traditional technique, and practice questions — because a beginner asking what a stellium means and a practitioner arguing about triplicity rulers are not having the same conversation and should not share a thread.

Practice against real charts

Alongside discussion there are drills on individual techniques and blind celebrity charts you read before finding out whose they are. Reading blind is uncomfortable and it is the only reliable way to learn whether you are reading the chart or the biography.

How it is moderated

Prediction of death, medical diagnosis, and readings done on someone who has not asked for one are out of bounds. Beyond that the bar is that disagreement should be about the chart. Charts posted here are visible to other members, so post someone else’s only with their agreement.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a subscription to join the community?

The community is part of the Astrologer workspace and is available to account holders. The public chart calculators and glossary are free to anyone with no account.

Can I post someone else’s chart?

Only with their agreement. Charts posted in the community are visible to other members, and birth data is personal information.

Is the community for beginners or professionals?

Both, in separate spaces. Topic areas divide beginner questions from technical and practitioner discussion so neither crowds the other out.

What is not allowed?

Predicting death, diagnosing medical or psychological conditions, and reading charts for people who have not asked. Disagreement about interpretation is encouraged; those three are not.
