Uranus is the first of the three modern outer planets, and with it a chart stops describing a person and starts describing a generation. It governs disruption, sudden change, and the refusal of a structure that no longer fits. Uranus transits are the ones people describe afterwards as the year everything changed, usually without having seen it coming, which is the nature of the thing.

Reading Uranus as a transit
